after checking it earlier in the day on monday then farming all i needed for 3 accounts i then find out that he got moved... what prompted this does anyone know for sure? oh well i guess i gotta go farm some hides now LOL... was just very frustrated to do all that work in vain.

There was a bug that couldn't be fixed in a timely fashion (he wouldn't trade with some people), so they had to relocate Nicholas which automatically changed what he wanted.

Lots of complaints in the Riverside forum Nicholas thread, about "wasting time" while playing a game (lol).

The dialogue wasn't what it was supposed to be, so it didn't say what he needed (though this was figured out). He was changed because of this I guess. (Didn't hear of people not being able to trade him if they had 3 Krait skins though).

Turned out to be a lucky break for me, I found his first location and although he wouldn't say what he was collecting he took 3 krait skins off me.

I had 24 more in storage so was back a few minutes later to get 4 more presents.
The update didn't remove my presents but sadly it also won't let me get 5 more.

Yes, according to the update notes, Nicholas was moved to his "Correct" location. Closing before all of the anet hate comes rolling in. If you want to comment on Nick further, please do it in the thread over in riverside.
